Cisco Revising CCIE Security Written
February 26, 2004 - Cisco Systems, Inc. announced today that it will soon be eligible to revise the constitution Cisco certification exam Internet experts: security (ccie: Security) champion.

Candidates must pass this multiple-choice (also known as "written") examination before they are allowed to participate in ccie: security laboratory examination.

New security examination 2.0 (# 350-018), will go to the scene testing centres in the world June 1. Cisco said that the candidates plan to take any written or after that date should use a list of targets found here, when the topic changes from the previous version said that in bold. Cisco said that these changes will strengthen the examination of "a high level of security underwriting enterprise networks." Beta for the examination were not disclosed.

Current security examination 1.0 (# 350-018), will be retained until 2.0 release.
