By Kuertemaji the State Oceanic Administration consortium, Publicity Section of the end-users, service providers and solution vendors focus on cultivating a service-oriented architecture (SOA) technologies and elected their own steering committee, and the creation of a new strategy group. The consortium is also considering the construction of a case study, one of the larger potential, the State Oceanic Administration users - the United States armed forces.
SOA is a loosely coupled approach various silos and military applications is a difficult case. It has a variety of solutions running on different platforms and in the dissemination of the site. Army currently is conducting a life cycle management approach (lcmm) projects, its software business, and look forward to the State Oceanic Administration as a way to manage their infrastructure, in a lower-cost approach. The lcmm project is focused on the structure, governance and change management, and so on.
Eventually join the consortium hope that the armed forces, to its list of SOA case study, which described the success story of Abstract SOA projects from different industries, big and small.
The consortium, the new strategy group is the so-called "commercial value, and the State Oceanic Administration," its purpose is to educate IT professionals on how to link business processes (such as the BPM, Six Sigma, Lean and Agile) and the State Oceanic Administration.
Business process management - the State Oceanic Administration seems to be a combination of the consortium continue to embrace. It conducted a round-table talks on the subject, focusing on four aspects of BPM - the State Oceanic Administration, including business discipline, work methods, technical and human factors. The consortium is expected to be released soon in the talks on its Web site.
The consortium plans to the next meeting December 12 to 13, 2007 in the staff said that the Group of California, it is by BEA Systems, Inc., Cisco Systems, IBM, SAP and SparX system, Rapid growth, together with more than 50 members in seven months of its existence.
