Texas A&M Wins National Cyber Defense Competition
Texas A M placed first in the second annual National Defense University Network Competition in the San Antonio TX. Winning teams received an invitation to participate in a national security work, in Washington, DC, in 2008. The competition is aimed at allowing students have the opportunity to use their education in a real world environment, according to the University of Texas San Antonio, which hosted competition.four undergraduate and postgraduate team competition at the national event on how best to maintain a business network, network attacks. Each team can protect the function of e-mail and Internet, web sites, data files, and users, for a fictitious business in the three-day competition. Other universities participated in the final competition, including the University of Louisville, millersville Indiana University of Pennsylvania and high-tech.
